October 30th: Western Energetics, Tissue States and Herbal Actions

What is hot digestion? Is Peppermint stimulating or relaxing? When would you use an astringent? This class will apply the principles of Western Energetics and Constitutional Medicine to tissues in the body and the actions of herbs to affect them. We will learn to see energetics at play in illnesses, and dive more deeply into examples and remedies. This class will be foundational to future classes on specific body systems. This is the second of a two-part class on Western Energetics (you may sign up for one or both, but please be prepared if you choose to skip the first that we will be using terminology around energetics and constitutions that you should be familiar with)
